It is often the little things that bring great joy into my life. This statement is defined as cliché, it is used to express pleasure or satisfaction in some seemingly mundane or unimportant aspect, detail, event, or outcome. And it is true. Whenever I see a porta potty on the side of the road, mundane as that is to most people, it brings me great pleasure. Joy. Happiness.
I want to drop a pin and list all the areas where a random porta potty is sitting. I know they move, it is not a forever bathroom there for my convenience. Most of the time they are only there for the need of a construction project, then moved on to the next one.
Lets build an app
But wouldn’t that be helpful? We could update the app when a port potty relocates to its new temporary home. You could then check the app, know when one is available and pull right on over in an emergency situation. Bam, there is a random bathroom at your service. Maybe not all the amenities you could ask for. But it works for me. Remember this is an emergency, you are not going to get a warm hand towel, just a place to go.
I did a Google search for simple things that make people happy. I did not find porta potty on the list. Weird. Quite possibly the writer of those lists does not have IBS. Sunshine was at the top of many lists. I wouldn’t have a problem putting that at the top of my list either.
Sunshine always tops the list of the little things
Sunshine is important. Not just to plants and flowers, but for humans also. Have you ever stood in the bright morning sun? Just stood there with it so warm on your skin, almost, quite possibly warming your insides. So bright you have to close your eyes for the fear of going blind. Just feel it. I will put sunshine at the top of my list.
Warm weather, warm blankets, comfy couches. We seem to be a culture of people who appreciate warmth and comfort. I am not disagreeing. I just feel like porta potty runs to the top of the list also. It is a comforting feeling to see one sitting there when you got to go. It’s the little things, right?

Job interviews

I had a job interview yesterday. And remember I get the nervous shits. Surprisingly all went well. I’ve been in the middle of an IBS flare so I was playing it safe on what I ate the night before and got up early enough to hopefully let the bowels purge on their own accord. Look at me, learning how to handle this.
Who knows how the job prospect plays out? Interviews are hard for me. I am not big on talking about myself. I have learned that is what you are supposed to do. When they ask a question you are to elaborate on an instance/situation and how you handled yourself. I am more of yep, I can do that, let me show you how I work kind of person. I am bending, learning new things all around.
Who wants in on this porta potty app?
Are you good at job interviews? Do you have any interview advise?
